Characteristics of the BJC IRIS WATERPROOF Series:

Iris Estanca switches offer IP-44 protection centered on the frame, providing it with an EPDM membrane that protects its entire perimeter, and extends to the key through a second membrane in the intermediate piece. This structure manages to provide the whole with IP-44 protection that allows it to comply with the REBT safety regulations in wet places.
The base of the socket and the cover have a special design with an internal circuit designed to guide the water towards the outside, preventing it from penetrating inside the mechanism. Extruded perimeter that prevents water from coming into contact with the plug.
The mechanism is equipped with a zamak frame to allow strong screwing in the assembly that allows the EPDM membrane to be hidden inside the frame. Treated against rust.
