ETYMOLOGY: QUARTZ = From the greek word "kristallos" meaning ice and "Hard" in Slavic. CHLORITE = The name comes from the Greek "chloros" means green.

CRYSTAL SYSTEM: Trigonal / Monoclinic.

PRINCIPLE OF FORMATION: Primary.

CLASS MINERAL: Oxides, quartz groups.

CHEMICAL FORMULA MINERAL ELEMENTS: SiO2 + (MgFe2 +) 5At [(OH) 8 | AlSi3O 10].

HARDNESS: 7 on the Mohs scale.

FIELDS: Russia, Germany, USA.

MINEROLOGY: Group of quartz crystals with very defined layers Chlorite phantom growths. On some of the crystals it has formed a second generation of Quartz as aggregates in rosette and very clear and bright small crystals. Chlorite inclusions are common in alpine environments, and usually occur in the fissures and interior pockets of igneous and metamorphic rocks, and sedimentary rocks that are rich in clay minerals.
