MINERALOGY: Micas are mineral belonging to a large group of alumina silicates, iron, calcium, magnesium and alkaline minerals characterized by their easy peel into thin flexible, elastic and very bright sheets, found in igneous rocks and rocks metamorphic, mostly in acidic and mica schist crystalline intrusive rocks.
